I resigned the group. Enough with one-sided, vitriolic attacks on anyone who thinks differently.

Just wasn't worth the headache since the leader believes the same way as this woman and allowed the discussion to continue unchecked for so long. Granted she was in a conference, but that's no excuse. I'm over one-sided political discussions on networking boards that proclaim to be for entertainment networking and always turn to politics.
Granted, most people in entertainment are Democrats, but that doesn't mean it needs to be part of a networking group that claims to be professional. Enough already! Didn't they learn that religion and politics are two topics that shouldn't be discussed in polite company?
I'm moving on from this. Next!
I so agree! I'm not sure why people who think they are "creative" are so horridly conformist and so fearful of different ideas. Quelle ironic.

Thanks Lolly, I totally agree! Hollywood people can be the most narrow minded, elitist mentality I've ever met in my life!
Only their opinions matter and only their opinions are right - kill everyone else who has an independent thought.
Glad to see you see it for what it is. I, for one, am sick of dancing around hoping not to rock the boat of angry, spiteful Democrates.
Now to find more like-minded reasonable people and really rock that boat. They shouldn't have made this Irish woman angry because I accomplish a lot more for good when I'm mad than when I'm not.
However, that said, my anger isn't something I'm proud of and something I'm working on. I probably shouldn't have told that woman to go F herself, but it sure felt good writing it when I did.LOL
